[Unique Self X Lide Tailoring] As the New Year festivities come to an end, are you ready to get back to work? I certainly am!!
I'm very fortunate to have my own custom shirt as my armor to face new work challenges in this brand new year. From clinical work in a white coat to health lectures in preventive medicine, those who know me well probably understand that in long-term care, I prefer a more approachable style of dress, making the elderly feel like I'm a friend or family member accompanying and caring for them. However, there are always some lectures and work settings that require more formal attire, inevitably including shirts, dress pants, and high heels.
By chance, I came to know "Leader Tailor". I made an appointment to discuss my work nature, personal preferences, fabric materials and patterns, collar styles, and other choices with the master tailor. We quickly found the fabric and style I liked. Then, as they measured my body, the master said that the most important aspects of women's suits are shoulder width and waistline. With expert hands, they measured and told me that my shoulders are wider than the average woman's, and advised me on how to choose shirts that would look better in the future. Additionally, I consulted with the master about my past concerns with wearing shirts - worrying about the buttons at the chest not fitting well and potentially popping open (!?). The master assured me that this would absolutely not be a problem with custom-made shirts.
"Leader Tailor" showed me their professionalism and value. Once you've worn their shirts, it's hard to go back to off-the-rack ready-made shirts. The custom-made shirts have a sleek, well-fitted, and delicate cut that even gives my H-shaped waist a bit of an alluring silhouette.
